True friendship

Well this is a photo from when Lou first came home and it was taken last year. Lou loves his teddy bear and that is the one toy he will not share with his adopted sister Maple everything else is up for grabs. Lou has slept with that teddy bear in his kennel since he was just a little puppy and has never spent the night without it and that is because well he just wont settle without it and no I'm not makeing that up it's true. Although if you looked at his teddy bear now you probaly wouldn't recognize it it has no ears they've been chewed off and the eyeballs have been pulled out and teddy has had many an operation to be put back togather and yet Lou still loves him. Well I had my first day back to school the other day since christmas break was over and have been scrambleing to get projects and studying done since then so if you don`t hear from me for a couple weeks it`s because I`m studying, working, or studying.

Well I had a whole thing typed out but then I accidentally deleted it and of course I can't remember what I wrote however I do know that I was going to mention the fact a little while ago I was looking at another blog called bringing up shelby it's also about a pug and there was mention of a calender contest on a site called owned by pugs people were to enter a picture and have the possibilty of having their pug on a calender so of course being the proud mommy that I am I knew Lou could get a spot on that Calender and so I entered a picture of him well about a month after that I got an email saying that Lou had been chosen and so now the calender is for sale and I believe it's for a really good cause so if you'd like to go cheak it out then here's the address hopefully this will work this time and I wont delete this post again.

Home again Home again finally

I'm finally home from work. It's not asthough I work all that much or even that my job is all that hard but I've got school during the week because I had to go back and upgrade some courses and for the most part it's a full day of school and then I work on the weekends and a four hour shift on wensday evenings so that all in all leaves me fairly tried. Well right now I am on Christmas break from school and my boss knew this so she schedueled me in for some extra shifts and that means that I'm not getting to enjoy all that much of my holiday. It was really slow at work today which had a really werid affect on me it caused me to be tired but I guess that was just because I didn't keep busy and it may also have something to do with the fact that I had to work from 9-6 and that involves me getting up at 7:30 to be on the road for 8:00 to be to work for 9:00 which leaves me pretty tried in it's own. Also since most of the other associates are currently either on hoildays or are working in another department I've for the most part been by myself in the department. By the way if I didn't already mention it or you didn't guess I work at the Home Depot in the seasonal department to be specific. Although I certianly do love working with the flowers and I do occasionally bring some home it's a bit tiresome when you work an eight hour shift by yourself in a rather big department. Oh well enough ranting and raving I don't want to be one of those crazy people who does nothing but complain about their day on their blog. This is part of the reason I love having a little pug to come home to a little dose of pug makes everything seem right in the world. Although be warned having a pug comes at a price. What's that price some may ask well it's the price of many lint rollers, trips to the pet store to have the nails trimed( it's that or have everyone think that you've got a dolphin stashed away in your house), Never being able to wear black without getting some pug hair on it and also the constant cleaning of wrinkeles and faces and ears. Now that is if you have a perfectly normal and heathy pug. Now I got a pug with allergies to nobody yet knows what, an umbilical hernia( has been fixed all better), had a wrinkle infection ( when they say clean the wrinkle every day they mean everyday I was away on band trip and my parents forgot to clean Lou's wrinkle oh well lesson learned), and of course every puggie needs some toys and cloths and treats and just mystereous things that your not even sure what they do but you bought them anyways lol. The thing is I wouldn't trade any of it in for the world and that is true love :D.

Worked out the kinks

I know that it isn't all that long since I only wrote a couple of hours ago but well I was working out how the blog works and just wanted to talk to whoever may be reading a bit more. Well sometime this month we're going to have to take Mr. Lou into the Vet's for some blood work because he's got this horrible rash on his belly and we can't figure out what the heck is causeing it. We found out we he was younger that he had allergies so the vet had us switch him onto a science diet salmon and potatoe food which seemed to help up until a few months ago and then I noticed that he was redder than any normal pug should be and so we figured that maybe it was the rawhide bone that he was getting( don't worry he was suppervised when eatting those and they weren't the bad type either) so I had to be a mean mommy and take away the raw hides and then the rash did clear up after two weeks of no rawhides. This was about the time that we got another pug and we took them both into the vets and the vet was even stumped. She gave him a couple drops of medicince between the shoulder that was in case the rash was being caused by any bugs but still the rash didn't go away and the only good thing that came out of that was the fact that we not knew for certain it wasn't bugs which I was fairly certain of before. So alas here we are almost six month since the original incident occured and still no answers. The vet said they could do a skin scrape and blood tests to determine what he's allergic to and the only reason I put it off so long is because hey is it just me or does a skin scrape sound painful? Well after trying to elimate anything that he could be allergic to and clear up that rash myself I guess we're going to have to take him into the vets cause even though it may hurt it's better than poor Lou being itchy all the time like he is now and besides the longer he's exposed to whatever it is probaly the worse his reaction will get and I definately don't want it to start affecting his breathing. Well ttyl

Well as you might or might not have guessed this is my little fur child he goes by the name of Tiger Lou. However since Tiger Lou can be a bit of a mouthful to say at times he just goes by Lou. Well Lou is first and formost my baby and therefore my responsibility however since I still live at home I do have some help with the attention giving and pug sitting so in a big way Lou is a familily dog it just happens to be that if he should happen to make a mess or get into trouble he's automatically my pug see how this works oh well lol I love every minute of it and wounldn't trade it for the world. Happy New Year to everyone and Lou and I are wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2008. As this is my first blog and I'm not as internet savy as one may think that someone of my age should be this blog will involve a lot of experimenting and possiblely some rearranging within the first little while. Also I'm not certain how often I'll be able to get one and blog what with work and upgrading some courses at my local high school and being mother to the fure child but I will definately try. Heck I'm not even sure if anyone is going to read this or not. Well I'm going to go exploring this blog some more and see what else I'm able to do. Blog ya later
